Partner Knowledge Management and CRM

The client was the corporate venture arm of a multinational professional services company. They wanted to invest in growth-stage startups to encourage open innovation with their current clients. They have a large directory of startups from all over the world with related informational assets. The professional services employees were unable to leverage and contribute to information about the startups because there was no centralized knowledge management tool.

The project started with a very short discovery period that included speaking with stakeholders and conducting interviews with SMEs. Concepts were designed and tested with users.

User research became instrumental in informing the application features for MVP and future releases, and usability studies ensured ease-of-use. Once the concept had been validated by users as useful and usable, and by the business as meeting their needs and constraints, production-ready design assets, including an interactive prototype and digital style guide were created for the development team’s consumption.

The solution for this project was very well received by many of the users and stakeholders as we built something that was beyond their ask. In addition to housing all the collection of startup data and presenting it in a consumable manner, we also developed features to collaborate and track their progress during an engagement pursuit.
